Chiefs Chairman Clark Hunt is on the relocation committee for the NFL.  He is one in the six-person committee who will begin meeting this week on whether the Rams, Raiders and/or Chargers leave their respective cities for Los Angeles.  The vote will take place the week of Jan. 11.

Of course, those formal bids can be placed by teams starting as early as today.  It will be the job of Hunt and the relocation committee to determine the teams, consider the proposals that the three markets have put forth and then present it to the rest of the league

Hunt is trying to straddle the fence and not upset any of the three markets, by saying what’s best for the NFL, “when possible” is to keep all three teams in the cities where they currently reside, but knows that won’t happen.  Hunt says at least one team will be moving.
