The Chiefs will carry a franchise-record 10-game winning streak into the playoffs, but will play next weekend in Houston after Denver clinched the top spot in the AFC West with a 27-20 win over San Diego.

Alex Smith threw two touchdown passes, the Chiefs sacked Raiders quarterback Derek Carr six times and won 23-17 victory over Oakland on Sunday.

The Chiefs were up 14-3 when Alex Smith threw interceptions on back-to-back passes.  After his first, the Chiefs picked off Derek Carr in the endzone with Ron Parker snagging an underthrown pass.  However, Smith returned the favor on a pick six by David Amerson to make it 14-10.

The Chiefs blocked a punt for a safety and Smith threw his second touchdown pass of the day to make it a 23-10 game.  Oakland got a touchdown from Carr to Michael Crabtree to close out the scoring.
