Coming off a record-setting season this past spring, the Missouri State Bears will enter the 2016 campaign as the No. 17 team in the Collegiate Baseball’s Fabulous 40 NCAA Division I preseason poll, which was announced Monday.  The Missouri Tigers who finished 30-28 enter the poll ranked 34th.

The Bears, who finished with a school-record 49 wins last spring winning both the MVC regular-season and conference tournament titles, as well as the Springfield Regional crown to advance to their second NCAA Super Regional.

The Tigers, who had series wins against SEC opponents USC, Tennessee, Florida and Alabama will look to build off their first successful season since joining the SEC.
