#Mizzou stumbles in second half, suffers first loss at home to NC State

December 19, 2015 By Bill Pollock

Cat Barber scored 33 points and grabbed seven rebounds as North Carolina State handed Missouri it’s first home loss, beating the Tigers 73-59 Saturday night.

The Tigers held a 19-9 advantage early in the game, but that was cut by the Wolfpack quickly who held a one-point lead at the half.

NC State outworked Mizzou in the second half.  The Wolfpack outrebounded the Tigers 25-13 and scored 20 second-chance points to Missouri’s three.

Cullen VanLeer led Missouri with 12 points, shooting 4 of 7 from 3-point range. Tramaine Isabell added 10 points while Terrence Phillips and Wes Clark each scored seven.
