Could Nick Foles have run his final play as a member of the St. Louis Rams by taking a knee during Victory, err I mean Surrender Formation at the end of an ugly 27-3 loss to the Arizona Cardinals?

I’m sure it’s happened before, but I’ve never seen a losing team take a knee just to end a game, no matter how ugly it was.  Yet, this game was ugly for the Rams’ offense.

Foles and the offense was on the field for just over 20 minutes. They picked up just nine first downs, gained 212 total yards of offense and went 1-for-12 on third down conversions.

Foles numbers were just as bad. 15-of-35 for 146 and one interception. I’m not sure what Jeff Fisher thinks Case Keenum is going to bring to the offense.  He’s just another sacrificial “Lamb” back there with a porous offensive line.

However, with the Ram suffering their fifth straight loss, Fisher wasted no time naming Keenum next week’s starter against Detroit.
