The Missouri House and Senate budget committees meet in joint session to discuss the state’s role in assisting and relocating refugees.  The meeting stems from the call by some lawmakers and candidates for Syrian refugees’ entry to Missouri to be blocked, if only until the screenings they undergo can be reviewed.

Programming note:  today’s live streams should be the last with current equipment.  Beginning with the debate between Missouri’s five gubernatorial candidates on Sunday, December 6, we will have new equipment in place that we anticipate will provide greater video quality.

Video 1: includes most of the hearing, with an hour break for lunch from 2:05 until 3:04

Video 2: contains the rest of the hearing after an interruption due to technical difficulties
