A mother and her 1-year-old son have been found safe in Nashville, Tenn., after they were reported abducted earlier today. An Amber Alert was issued for Diana Berrios-Pimentel, 23, and her son Dyland Rosa.

St. Louis County Police said that the woman told them she left under her own free will and was not abducted. Texts to a cousin indicating otherwise were a ruse to leave town without family intervention.
Police say the mother and son had been living with a cousin in St. Louis and the cousin told police that she received a text message from Berrios-Pimentel saying a vehicle with two men kept driving in the area. Berrios-Pimentel moved to St. Louis from Texas because of a domestic situation with her boyfriend. The woman’s cousin told police that a short time after getting the first text, she got another text message saying Berros-Pimentel and the boy were safe but that they wouldn’t be returned until certain demands were met.
Police said no charges are likely because Berrios-Pimentel didn’t issue a false report and the cousin who received the text messages acted on good faith.
