The longest active losing streak in Missouri high school football ended Friday night when North Shelby beat Missouri Military Academy 34-33. The North Shelby Raiders had lost 63 straight regular season games dating back to 2009.
The Raiders had to come from behind for the win, falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter. Cripe was pleased to get the win in the school’s final season of 11-man football before switching to eight-man next year.
Coach Todd Cripe described the celebration to Missourinet Affiliate KRES Radio’s Brad Boyer on Friday night’s Endzone show.
