Outstanding speeding ticket at Lake of the Ozarks for DGB keeps NFL arrest streak alive

Former troubled Missouri Tigers wide receiver, and current Tennesee Titan, Dorial Green-Beckham was pulled over on September 30th on Highway 60 in Missouri for driving 65 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The police officer ran DGB’s license and discovered an outstanding warrant for speeding in Osage Beach, Mo.  No problem after he was taken in.  He settled up by paying the $92.48 to settle and received a written warning for speeding.

That minor mishap cost the NFL a shot at ending a streak I’m sure they are not proud of.  According to Mike Foss of “For The Win” for USA Today, had DGB not been pulled over, it would ended a string of six-straight years where an NFL player had been arrested in every month.

As minor as the arrest was for DGB, it was still an arrest and it keeps the string alive in the NFL.

A list of NFL player’s arrest have been compiled by the San Diego Union. NFL Arrest Database
