Ben Zobrist hit the go-ahead RBI-double in the eighth inning to lift the Royals past the Twins, 3-1 at Target Field.  With the win, the Royals stayed in a tie for the best record in the American League with teh Toronto Blue Jays at 93-67.

Zobrist scored Alcides Escobar to break a one-all tie, and Mike Moustakas added an RBI-single to pad the lead.

Chris Young hurled six-and-a-third innings of one-run ball, with Louis Coleman earning the relief win.

Wade Davis picked up his 16th save.

Twins starter Ervin Santana gave up four hits over seven-plus to take the tough loss. Aaron Hicks plated the lone run for Minnesota.
