Webb City knocked out of Little League World Series after back-to-back losses on Friday and Saturday

Webb City surrendered an early lead against New England, allowing five runs in the first inning, en route to a 6-3 loss on Saturday at Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, PA.

This loss, along with Friday’s 18-0 defeat to Mid-Atlantic, knocks Webb City out of the tournament.

New England scored in the first on a walk by Dylan Demers, a two-run single by Jason Patalano, an RBI single by Jake Bender, and an RBI single by Tommy Harper.

Devrin Weathers had two extra-base hits for Midwest. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the third inning. Cale McCallister took the loss, allowing six runs in 3.2 innings, walking two and striking out four.  McCallister also homered.

On Friday, Eighteen runs in the first three innings allowed Mid-Atlantic to easily put away Webb City. Mid-Atlantic hit three home runs in the win.

Devrin Weathers took the loss for Midwest. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked one and struck out one.
