Cardinals outfielder Randal Grichuk will need an MRI on Monday to determine why his right elbow is tight.  He had to leave early during Sunday’s 6-4 loss to the Marlins.

Grichuk felt discomfort in the seventh inning and Mike Matheny pulled him because of defensive concerns in the top of the eighth.

“Had to be cautious,” Matheny said. “He could have gone up and hit again, but not at the risk of throwing him out defensively, since we don’t know what we’re looking at.”
