The #13 Missouri Tigers (39-14) were eliminated from the 2015 SEC Tournament with a 5-2 loss to the 7th seeded Auburn Tigers (47-9).  Mizzou took a 1-0 first inning lead on a two-out single by senior SS Corrin Genovese, but that was all the Tigers could muster in the inning, despite loading the bases.

Mizzou outhit Auburn 6-4 and also drew five walks and a hit batter, but stranded six runners and had two runners thrown out at the plate. Mizzou also committed two errors leading to a pair of Auburn runs.

Mizzou, ranked #9 in this week’s Ratings Percentage Index rankings, will await its NCAA Tournament seed, with the brackets set to be announced Sunday evening at 10 p.m.
