Mizzou softball junior OF Emily Crane of Troy, Mo., was named First Team All-SEC and made the list for SEC All-Defensive Team.  Joining Crane from the Tigers were sophomore pitcher Tori Finucane and junior IF Sami Fagan, who earned Second Team All-SEC honors.  Pitcher, Paige Lowary and IF-Amanda Sanchez received Freshman All-SEC honors.

Crane is batting .366 this season with 56 hits, 52 runs scored and 25 RBI. She’s also tied for sixth in the SEC with 25 stolen bases. Crane has committed just one error in the field in the past two seasons combined.

Fagan is batting .389 with a .732 slugging percentage. Her 61 RBI is ranked sixth in the SEC this season.

Finucane, who was named SEC Freshman of the Year in 2014, has 18 wins for the second season in a row and held opposing batters to a .250 batting average with 127 strikeouts.

Lowary is 18-4 in the circle with a 3.10 ERA in 33 appearances.

Sanchez hit four home runs last week, including three long balls against the top-ranked Gators and now has a team-high 14 home runs on the season. She’s driven in 52 runs in 2015 and is three shy of tying Mizzou’s freshman record for RBI in a season.

Mizzou heads next to the SEC Tournament, hosted by LSU at Tiger Park in Baton Rouge, La., from Wednesday May 6-Saturday, May 9. The seventh-seeded Tigers take on 10th-seeded Mississippi State on Wednesday, May 6 at 11 a.m. CT
