Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas went 4 for 5, and Alex Gordon drove in two runs to help beat AL Cy Young winner Corey Kluber and keep him winless at 0-3, following the Royals 6-2 win over the Cleveland Indians.

Moose is 11 for 25 lifetime against Kluber and he delivered an RBI single in the seventh.

Cleveland was shaky in the field.  Errors by shortstop Jose Ramirez and former Royals shortstop Mike Aviles, playing third base, helped give the Royals two runs.

Eric Hosmer had an RBI single in the third, and later scored on Gordon’s double near the line in left field for a 3-2 lead.

Jason Vargas, now 2-1, allowed two runs in five innings. He gave up a two-run homer to Aviles in the fifth.
