Fourth seeded Northwest Missouri fell 47-42 in a defensive battle with second seeded Minnesota State-Moorhead in the NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship game.

NWMSU lead early in the second and got within three at one point in the final minute. NWMSU held their opponent to just .370 shooting from the field and forced 10 turnovers while only turning the ball over six times.

For the Bearcats Grant Cozad led the way scoring 15 points while on the glass Conner Crooker pulled down a game high 11 rebounds. Justin Pitts scoring 14 points and pulled down five rebounds as did Matt Wallace on the night.

NWMSU finishes the season 25-8 and were the MIAA regular season champion.
