Boonville and Buffalo closed out an exciting day of third place finishes in Columbia.

Paige Peterson and Morgan Edwards each scored 15 points to lead for Lady Pirates in double figures as Boonville bounces back after a tough semifinal loss to claim third place in Class 3, with a 63-54 win over Buffalo.

The Bison were led by Morgan Henderson who played the whole game and led all scorers with 30 points, nine above her season average.

Boonville shot 54% for the game compared to Buffalo’s 33%, but the Bison outrebounded Boonville 39-27.

The Lady Pirates end their season at 30-1, while Buffalo closes out their campaign 24-8.
