Mizzou sophomore Sierra Michaelis scored 20 of her career-high 29 points in the second half and Morgan Stock added 11 points for the Tigers, but it wasn’t enough in the second round of the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament.

7th seeded Missouri was upset by 10th seeded Georgia 75-64 in North Little Rock, AR.

Georgia used a 10-0 run to go up 13-7 with just over 11 minutes left in the first half and the Tigers never caught up.  The Bulldogs extended the lead to 11 before Missouri closed the half within 32-27. The Tigers got the game to 56-54 with 4:36 left but couldn’t get any closer.

Mizzou is 17-13 and will now wait on postseason play.
