Jarekious Bradley scored a game-high 23 points and eighth-seeded Southeast Missouri (13-17) committed 17 turnovers in a 79-74 loss to fifth-seeded Morehead State (16-16) Wednesday night during the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

Bradley finished his two-year Southeast career by shooting 6-of-15 from the field and a near-perfect 11-of-12 at the free throw line. He also grabbed eight rebounds and an assist in 28 minutes.   Bradley goes out with a total of 1,029 points, 345 rebounds and 49 double-digit scoring performances in 58 games and 43 starts as a Redhawk.

The Redhawks and Eagles battled through 18 ties and 17 lead changes. Neither team led by more than three points in the second half until the final second.  In the end, head coach Dickey Nutt said they just couldn’t slow down Morehead State.

“We’re disappointed,” said Dickey Nutt. “The turnovers were costly and we had a hard time stopping them defensively.”
