Sims aired out the ball after the Bama defense held Missouri to its third three and out of the game. Sims found DeAndrew White on a 58 yard pass down the middle and on the play, Shane Ray was called for targeting on a late hit on Sims, leading to an ejection of the SEC’s sack leader.

The Tigers got on the board with a 33 yard field goal by Andrew Baggett. The big play came on a 3rd and 4 when Mauk found Jimmie Hunt for a 32 yard gain, giving the Tigers a first and ten at the Alabama 15. The Tide tightened up and won the battle, holding Mizzou to three points.

Alabama went back to work on another long 14-play, 75 yard drive that was capped with a two yard touchdown run by T.J. Yeldon.

Amari Cooper had ten catches in the first half for 61 yards to help lead Alabama who is outgaining the Tigers 252 to 108 through the first two quarters.
