The St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office confirms the grand jury in the Michael Brown investigation has reached a decision that will be announced later today.

Attorneys for Michael Brown’s family tell CNN they have received notice that a decision has been made.

A source inside the St. Louis County Government Building in Clayton told Missourinet the announcement will be made there at 4, but other media outlets have been told the announcement will be made at 5 or 7 tonight.

Governor Jay Nixon will discuss “preparations to protect the public and free speech in anticipation of the grand jury decision” in at 5:30 at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He will be joined by St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and Department of Public Safety Director Dan Isom.
