Shaun Hill was back at starting quarterback and the St. Louis Rams defense picked off Peyton Manning twice in a 22-7 victory over the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos on Sunday.  This win for the Rams, combined with Chiefs 24-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks has moved KC into a tie for first in the division.

Rams rookie Tre Mason had 29 carries for 113 yards, the most allowed by the Broncos’ top-ranked run defense.  Kenny Britt had four catches for 128 yards with a 63-yard score and Greg Zuerlein was a career-best 5 for 5 on field goals for the Rams (4-6).

In a battle of the top two running backs in the league, the Chiefs stopped Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks on fourth down three times in the final quarter Sunday.

Jamaal Charles ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns, and Knile Davis also ran for a score, as the Chiefs (7-3) won their fifth straight game and moved into a tie for first in the AFC West.
