Texas A & M quarterback Kyle Allen threw four touchdown passes on the Aggies first five possessions last Saturday at #3 Auburn.  Allen finished with 277 yards with the four TDs and one interception.  While A & M coach Kevin Sumlin took awhile to name a starter, it will in fact be the freshman Allen.  T.J. Fenske from KRCG-TV, Jefferson City thinks that’s the best move.

Secondary issues will be a concern for Missouri, until they can get senior Braylon Webb back for the second half.  With the arrest of Aarion Penton for marijuana, the Tigers will rely on sophomore John Gibson to man one of the corners.  Will A & M try to pick on him early.  You can bet on it.

Allen, from Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., matched the Texas A&M freshman record with four passing touchdowns, all in the first half, and enjoyed the eighth-best passing day by a freshman in school history with 277 yards. Allen connected on touchdown strikes of 60, 35, 23 and 7 yards in just his second career start.  He was named the SEC offensive player of the week.

*Note, things change quickly…Right after our recording, it was announced that Allen would start.
