McDonald’s is recalling nearly 2.3-million “Hello Kitty Birthday Lollipop” whistles after two reports of children sucking pieces of the toy into their mouths.
One of chose children received medical attention for the incident.
The whistles were distributed to the chain’s restaurants between October 2014 through the first week of November with Happy Meals and Mighty Kid Meals.
Consumers are urged to take the whistle away from children and return it to any McDonald’s for a replacement toy and either a tube of yogurt or a packet of apple slices.
