Eight of the last ten teams that have come home for games 6 and 7 in the World Series, down 3-2, have won the title.  History is certainly on the side of the Royals, proving home field advantage means a lot in baseball, perhaps more than any other sport.

However, the San Francisco Giants have a big advantage of the Royals at this point…a rested bullpen.  With the day off and Madison Bumgarner’s complete game, Bruce Bochy has his whole staff to turn to, which basically negates Jake Peavy’s inability to finish six innings.  The Royals best chances to win this game are to get to Peavy the first time through the order and a quality start for Yordano Ventura.
