The St. Louis Rams showed no jitters of playing in front of a national TV audience on Monday Night Football, jumping out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.  The Rams gained 150 yards in the opening quarter and had touchdowns on Benjamin Cunningham’s 1-yard run and a 22-yard touchdown reception for Lance Kendricks.

However, Colin Kaepernick threw three touchdown passes and the San Francisco defense returned an interception for six in a 31-17 final at the Edward Jones Dome.

The loss drops the Rams to 1-4, while the 49ers improve to 4-2.

Austin Davis was 21-of-42 for 236 yards. Davis has seven touchdowns, but three of his four interceptions have been returned for touchdowns, all in the fourth quarter at home, where the Rams are 0-3.

Brandon Lloyd, Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree each caught a scoring pass for the 49ers
