Jarrod Dyson ran for Nori Aoki and stole second base after Aoki singled in a run in the bottom of the tenth inning.  Dyson was left stranded at second as Omar Infante popped up to end the game 4-3.  The game was completed at Progressive Field in Cleveland, after the game was suspended in Kansas City on August 31st.

Back at Kauffman Stadium, Lonnie Chisenhall’s two-out, two-run double gave the Indians a 4-2 lead before rain led to a delay before the bottom half of the inning.  Greg Holland takes the loss.

With the loss, the Royals fall two games behind Detroit and their lead is just one game over Seattle for the second wild card spot.

Ironically, Danny Duffy started the suspended game against Cleveland, giving up one earned run in 6 2/3 innings. He makes tonight scheduled start.
