Michael Sam leaves the state of Missouri and returns to his home state of Texas. Now on the Dallas Cowboys practice squad, he is waiting for his opportunity to help his new team. Several of the veterans including quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten came up to Sam and welcomed him and neither one of them expect Sam to be a distraction to the team. Although, Dez Bryant told NFL.com, that owner Jerry Jones called some of the veteran players to give them a head’s up on the plans to add Sam to the practice roster.
