Royals speedster Jarrod Dyson stole second and third in the bottom of the eighth inning, then scored the eventual winning run when he came home on a Salvador Perez single, as the Royals beat the Texas Rangers, 2-1.  The Royals keep their half game lead over Detroit who beat Cleveland.

Jeremy Guthrie allowed just one run in getting the no-decision and the Royals managed just a run against Derek Holland in his first start after missing five months with a knee injury.

Former Ranger Jason Frasor stranded runners on first and third in the eighth to pick up the win , and Aaron Crow got his third save of the season after Greg Holland got the night off.
