A woman from the southeast Missouri town of Carl Junction has been arrested for allegedly posing for photos with a dead body and posting those photos on Facebook.
The 24-year-old faces a charge of abandonment of a corpse. Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland says authorities are still looking for a male also seen in the photos.
The Joplin Globe reports the woman posed with the body of 30-year-old Dennis Meyer of Joplin, who was found dead last week in a rural driveway. What caused his death is still not known.
