Mauk made four starts in place of injured starting quarterback James Franklin, and made an instant impact for the Tigers. He played in 13-of-14 games, throwing 1,071 yards with 11 TDs and just two INTs.

He matched the school record for TD passes in a game with his five scores on a 17-for-28, 203-yard performance in the 48-17 win at Kentucky (Nov. 9) and was named  three-time SEC Freshman Player of the Week after his performances against Florida (Oct. 19), Tennessee (Nov. 2), and Kentucky (Nov. 9).

Now, this is Mauk’s team and he’s ready to lead and ready for Saturday’s game against South Dakota State.
