Jimmy Rollins homered and Jerome Williams tossed eight strong innings to lead the Philadelphia Phillies to a 7-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday.  Milwaukee topped Pittsburgh to increase their lead to 1.5 games over the Cardinals.

Justin Masterson gave up five runs and six hits in just three innings as his National League ERA ballooned to 7.43 ERA in five starts since he joined the Cardinals from Cleveland on July 30.

The Cardinals pitching staff gave up 17 runs to the Phillies in this series as St. Louis dropped two out of three.

The Cardinals travel to Pittsburgh with John Lackey making his fifth start for the Cards since his July 31 trade from Boston on Monday.
