The Missouri Tigers took to Faurot Field for their final scrimmage of Fall Camp. The intensity was at its highest this camp early on, but as the temperatures started to rise, some sloppy play came back. Head coach Gary Pinkel is looking for his team to break through those mental barriers.

“Really glad we had the heat today, but it is going to get hotter. I told them (the players) they caught a break today,” Pinkel said.

Pinkel is still looking for consistency. He’s not looking for perfection…just steady.

“I think they got the message. I think they understand it. We just have to work hard and play better.”
