This week marked the 25th anniversary of the disappearance of Gina Dawn Brooks, a 13-year old girl who disappeared while bicycling not far from her home in Fredricktown.

The Supervisor of the regional FBI Violent Crimes Against Children Squad has told Missourinet affiliate KREI that the agency—and the community—still hope to learn what happened to her.

Three men were listed as suspects and two were charged with murder.  But the charges later were dropped.  A third man has died but on his deathbed implicated himself and one of the other two.

There are no suspects today.

Agent Dan Netermeyer was interviewed by KREI newsman Louie Seiberlich.
