Cleveland starter Corey Kluber improved to 4-1 against the Royals in his career, as he gave up four hits while striking out ten and was two outs away from a complete game, as the Royals come up short losing the third and final game of this series.  The Indians got to Danny Duffy with two home runs in the second inning.

Carlos Santana opened the inning with a drive into the right-field bullpen, his 13th homer this season.  Ryan Rayburn lined a single to left field and one out later, Yan Gomes hit a long one over the center-field wall for two more runs. It was the tenth for Gomes as the Indians jumped out to a 3-0 lead.

Mike Moustakas delivered the only run for the Royals with a solo homer off Kluber in the fifth inning that flew just inside the right-field pole.  In his last 21 games, Moustakas is 20-for-69, .290, with six homers and 15 RBIs.
