Kim Anderson wants Mizzou playing in Kansas City every year

The University of Missouri may have overblown the significance of their press release they sent out to the media, giving us a “head’s up,” about a major announcement that would be made by the basketball program on Monday in Kansas City.  For me, the only major announcement would be that Missouri and Kansas are renewing their rivalry.  So, I wasn’t too amp’d up when I heard the Tigers would be playing Oklahoma State, but it’s a game that is still important for the program as a whole.

It’s a good move by Kim Anderson to get this game and secure further games in the future on the west side of this state.  Austin Kim from KMIZ-TV in Columbia joins me on this Google Hangout to discuss the significance of this game and is it possible this eventually opens the door to a KU game?

The Tigers will play Oklahoma State on Tuesday, December 30th.  Ticket information will be released at later date.
