Former Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa has been named Chief Baseball Officer for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 69 year old will be in charge of overseeing long-term planning, payroll strategy, scouting, the draft and player development.  How will a lifer on the baseball field perform from the executive suites upstairs?
