Murder charges have been field against the Aurora, Missouri man accused of fatally shooting three people Sunday outside Jewish facilities in Overland Park, Kansas.
Frazier Glenn Cross, Junior, better known as F. Glenn Miller, is charged with one count of capital murder for the killings of 69-year-old William Lewis Corporon and his 14-year-old Reat Griffin Underwood, outside the Jewish Community Center. He is charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 53-year-old Terri LaManno outside the Village Shalom senior living facility.
For capital murder, Cross could be sentenced to life without parole unless prosecutors seek the death penalty. A first-degree murder conviction carries a life sentence with no possibility of parole for at least 25 years.
Cross could still face federal charges. One possibility is that he could be charged with using a weapon in a hate crime, which would be eligible for a federal death penalty.
Cross has a history of holding and promoting anti-Semetic and racist positions. He founded the South Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in the 1980s and served as its “grand dragon.”
