Missouri basketball head coach Frank Haith has released Louisville transfer Zach Price from the program on Thursday, just a week after he was arrested twice for suspicion of domestic assault and assault. Price’s career at Mizzou ends before he ever took the floor in Tiger Black and Gold. Price sat out last season after coming over from Louisville, where he was on the national championship team.
“Last week’s situation was unacceptable and after a review, I have decided that Zach will no longer be a part of our program,” Haith said in a statement released through Mizzou’s athletic department. “The off-the-court incidents involving our program over the past few months will not be tolerated. Our program represents the entire university and needs to be an asset. That’s my responsibility as our head coach at Mizzou and we’ll get it fixed.”
