Zach Price transferred to Missouri from Louisville.

Columbia Police arrested University of Missouri basketball player Zach Price  on suspicion on two charges–third-degree assault and domestic assault. The incident marks the third Mizzou basketball player who has been arrested in the past three weeks. Current players Shane Rector and Wes Clark were arrested for pot possession just prior to the Tigers first NIT game. Price, who transferred from Louisville, was sitting out the 2013-14 season.

Columbia police were called to a residence near Heather Lane and Ash Street just after 1 a.m. Thursday, where the 20-year old Price was involved in a fight with another male and female. The other male is allegedly Price’s roommate according to the probable cause statement.  Price followed his roommate and the female from their residence, by vehicle, to Stadium Blvd., where Price boxed in his roommate’s car, got out of his own vehicle and punched the male in the face. The female was pushed to the ground. Their injuries were considered mild.

Price was arrested with bond set at $1,000 and $500 for the two charges. He posted bail and was released from Boone County Jail.

The 6’10 Price transferred to Mizzou from Louisville.  He started  a handful of games during Louisville’s championship season last year and averaged 2.1 points  and 1.9 rebounds per games as a starter.
