The Rock Bridge girls beat Lee’s Summit North 62-45 to win their third consecutive Class 5 state title. The Lady Bruins became the first girls team to win three straight state titles since Scott County Central did so in Class 1A from 1991-93.

6’8 senior Jordan Barnett scored 43 points and 20 rebounds in an 86-77 overtime win over Columbia Hickman for the Class 5 championship, giving Christian Brothers College Prep its first state title since 1997.

Incarnate Word started the game with a 13-1 run as they cruised to a 60-43 win over Dexter. They are now 62-1 over the past two seasons and they won their fourth title in five years and sixth all-time in Class 4.

Canyon Smith, who led Republic with 14 points, hit a three-pointer with seven seconds left to lift the Tigers to a 45-42 victory of Lafayette-St. Joseph, giving the Tigers the Boys Class 4 Championship.
