The Tigers fell to Arkansas 72-70 in Fayetteville on Sunday, March 2. Missouri falls to 17-12 overall and 6-10 in SEC play this season. Mizzou is the 12th seed in the SEC Tournament and will open play on Wednesday agains 13 seed, Mississippi State. The winner would advance to play 5th seeded Florida at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA.

Morgan Eye scored 20 points for Mizzou on Sunday and freshman Jordan Frericks scored a career high 18 in a game that saw several lead changes in the second half.

Mizzou held Arkansas to less than 40-percent shooting in the game, and just 16.7 percent from distance. The Tigers outscored the Razorbacks 38-33 in the second half, and were able to score 17 points off Arkansas turnovers.
