Levi Randolph scored a career-high 33 points to help lead Alabama past Mizzou in an 80-73 loss for the Tigers. The win gives Alabama just it’s fifth victory in SEC play and the loss drops the Tigers to 7-7 in league play. What hurts is this is a road loss against a sub-.500 team late in the season. This does not help Missouri’s NCAA resume.

Mizzou was up 16-13 when Randolph scored 17 of Alabama’s next 20 points to build a ten-point lead at 33-23 with just over six minutes to play in the first half. He finished with 19 points in the first 20 minutes and had Mizzou down 32-25 at the break.

The Tigers never caught Bama, but got close on two occasions. 61-60 on three free throws by Earnest Ross with 7:09 left and 65-63 with 5:14 to go before the Crimson Tide pulled away for the victory.

Ross led Mizzou with 25 points, Jabari Brown, 23 points and Jordan Clarkson, 14 points. Alabama shot 57% for the game and went 10 of 21 from three-point range.
