Offensive lineman Matt Patchan of Boston College ran a 4.84, 40-yard dash. Mizzou’s Justin Britt was 16th finishing in 5.1. Britt finished outside the top 15 in all other testing for lineman.

Running back Henry Josey was in a group of five running backs that finshed with 20 reps in the bench press. Jerick McKinnon of Georgia Southern was tops at 32.  Josey ran the third fastest 40 with a 4.43 and finished as a top performer in those two categories.

Wide receiver Marcus Lucas was in the top four in his group, finishing with 20 reps on the bench as well. The top receiver, Cody Latimer of Indiana had 23.  Lucas was also a top performer in the broad jump.

L’Damian Washington was a little off.  He’s been battling a sore toe and will need to use Mizzou’s pro days to help his results.  His 4.46 40-yard dash was tied for 13th out of 45, but was near the bottom in cone drills, where cutting would be an issue and bench press, where Washington is known for speed instead of strength.

Check back throughout the week for more updates at the combine.
