It was a career night for freshman Sierra Michaelis as she knocked down a career-best 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds on her way to her first-career double-double. Michaelis again earned the start for the Tigers, helping Mizzou earn an 81-76 win over the Florida Gators. The Tigers improve to 16-10 overall and 5-8 in SEC play.

Mizzou knocked down 12 three-pointers thanks to a 6-for-10 effort from Morgan Eye and a 4-for-6 effort from Michaelis. Not only that, but senior Bri Kulas and freshman Jordan Frericks also put up double figures with 19 and 12 points, respectively. It is the seventh time this season that four or more Tigers have reached double-figures in a game.

Down 34-30 at the half, the Tigers trailed until Michaelis tied the score up at 59 with less than 10 minutes to play, and Bri Kulas hit the go-ahead three-pointer just before the under-8 media break. The Gators tied it with less than two minutes to play, but Kulas hit a free throw to hold on to the 73-72 lead and she later made two consecutive trips to the free-throw line to close out the game and keep Mizzou in the lead.
