Jabari Brown’s runner with 12.2 seconds left put Mizzou up by one and then a strong defensive stand at the other end held up for an 86-85 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Thursday night. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Tigers.

Jordan Clarkson had 27 points to lead Missouri (17-7, 5-6 SEC), and Brown finished with 25. The Tigers last two wins have come against the Razorbacks (15-9, 4-7) and former Missouri coach Mike Anderson.

Some history was made tonight during a game that both coaches called disruptive because of the number of fouls called. Mizzou was good its first 23 free throws tying a single-game school record and they set a school record with 27 in a row over two games. The Tigers went 34 for 38 overall. Brown was 14 for 15 and Clarkson was 11 for 13.

Arkansas made it a game by going on a 10-0 run after the Tigers had built an 11 point lead early in the second half. The Hogs were up 85-83 with one minute to go, but Clarkson hit one of two at the line before Brown’s game winner.

The Tigers are back at home on Saturday when they host Tennessee at 3 p.m.
