Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman apologized for his tirade against San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree, saying “I apologize for attacking an individual and taking the attention away from the fantastic game by my teammates … That was not my intent.”

I’m fine with that explanation. In fact, I’m not sure Sherman needed to apologize. He talked trash and backed it up by his play on the field.

Of course, other players are going to come out against Sherman…the NFL has turned into this type of fraternity. I think fans want to see this. I think they like the character and personality.

I think the NFL needs more of this!
