A blizzard dropped more than a foot of snow on the east coast. On the ice in New Jersey, the Devils were like the bully in the school yard, pelting snow balls at the helpless kid. Seven different players scored for the home team in a 7-1 defeat for the Blues.

Mark Fayne, Ryan Carter, Jaromir Jagr, Ryane Clowe, Adam Henrique, Damien Brunner and Eric Gelinas combined to score goals against starter Brian Elliott and then Jaroslav Halak, who came in after Elliott surrended the first three.

The Devils finished 3-for-5 on the power play against the Blues, who entered fifth in the League on the penalty kill.

After back to back games, the Blues, in the middle of a four-game Eastern Conference road trip, will play the Rangers on Thursday at Madison Square Garden and the New York Islanders on Saturday afternoon at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
