A court will determine if Jack Clark is guilty of defamation, over remarks he made about Albert Pujols back in August 2013, but Clark continues to battle to have the lawsuit dismissed.
Pujols filed suit over Clark after he made comments on his sports radio talk show that he knew for a fact that Pujols was “a juicer.” He also claimed that a former Pujols trainer confided in him about shooting up Pujols with performance-enhancing drugs in 2000. The trainer has denied saying that to Clark.
Now, Clark has filed a motion to have the case dismissed and he may be grasping at straws. I’ll share some of the details from the story.
What I really want to share is some good baseball advice I’ve heard from Clark. Again, maybe the message wasn’t delivered the best way, but it was funny and he knows his baseball stuff. Wait until you hear what he told a nine-year old boy!
