Eryn Puett of Columbia, Mo. was honored with nine other winners of the NFL’s Punt, Pass and Kick competition in a ceremony that took place at the San Diego-Denver Division playoff game. Puett was the winner of the Girls 10-11 age group.

Puett finished with distances of punting the ball 112 feet, 9 inches, passing the ball, 112 feet and kicking the ball off the tee, 132 feet for a total of 356 feet, 9 inches. To give you an idea of how well she improved, during team championships to get into the finals, she punted the ball 96 feet, 4 inches, passed it 87 feet, 9 inches and kicked if off a tee 104 feet, 5 inches. Her total in that event was 288 feet and 6 inches…improving her total distance by 68 feet and 3 inches in the finals.

Scores are based on both distance and accuracy. For example, if a participant passes the ball 100 feet, but the ball lands 30 feet to the right of the measuring tape, the final score is calculated by deducting 30 from 100, for a final score of 70. Scores are based on exact feet and inches (partial inches are rounded to nearest inch).

Eyrn also won the event for 8-9 year-old division in 2011.  In 2012, Eyrn finished in 3rd place.   After that competition in 2012, she told StLouisRams.com, “I’m looking forward to going back next year and winning again.”

She lived up to her word.
